Men Don't Wear Gold

Men are forbidden to wear anything from gold, including gold teeth and gold of any kind, whether white gold, or any other multi-colored metal containing gold element. Gold jewelry is only for women to use it as a accessories and attract the attention of men. Men, however, have no need to add decoration to themselves because such jewelry does not fit the personality and virtues of a man.

Scientists have concluded that gold particles can penetrate the skin and enter the human bloodstream, which can adversely affect the body's immune system and thus affect the health of the men wearer. From a scientific point of view, the condition and texture of men's skin is very different from woman.

The gold jewelry use is also not one hundred percent pure gold. The pure gold is 24 carats but most of the jewelry is in 18 and 22 carat. This means that if the gold is 18 carats or 22 carats, 75 percent of it is pure gold, while the other 25 percent is made up of other metals that may be made of silver, copper, zinc or palladium. The main purpose of adding other metals is to strengthen the product and this durable mixed gold is called gold alloy.

The effect of using gold on the skin was actually studied by a consultant from the International Gold Corporation in Johannesburg, South Africa named William S. Rapson. From its research it has been found that human skin can produce amino acids and sodium chloride.

When we sweat, both chemicals react with the gold alloy that we wears. As a result of chemical reactions and friction with skin, gold alloys are found to be able to absorb into human skin.

Particles of gold alloy less than 40 nano-meters are indeed found can penetrate the pores of the skin. Dermatological studies have also shown that the absorption of gold particles can be accelerated by the high pH (acidity) of the skin. And it has been proven that the pH of men's skin is higher than women.

In addition, men are more likely to have thicker and coarse skin and fur than women. That's why science has found that men are able to absorb gold particles higher than women.

What happens after the absorption of metal into the skin?

When gold particles enter the epidermis and blood circulation system, they can cause clumping of proteins. The condition makes it inactive and has an impact on the male cardiovascular system.

In fact, recent findings by a team of researchers from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), have come as a surprise to find that the accumulation of these proteins can speed up the aging process.

Director of the Larry L. Hillblom Center of Biology of Aging at USCF, Professor Cynthia Kenyon, says the tendency of proteins that stick together will cause clogged and inactive blood vessels to become toxic.

Surprisingly, the presence of this soluble protein has been extensively detected in the brains of patients with Neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

What about women? Is the use of gold dangerous to them?

Women do not suffer from these problems because they have the privilege that no men has which is estrogen hormone.

These hormones help with mobility in the blood. When estrogen concentration is high especially during menstruation, the blood vessels expand for blood circulation and blood production.

Although men also have estrogen hormones, but they are so small and the function is unknown. In fact, male estrogen is just static and their blood vessels are not expand as women.

So, if a gold particle enters the male body, it can clog the blood vessels and that is why men are more likely to have cardiovascular health problems. And this is why men should not wear gold.
